ASIA PACIFIC GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED having its registered office at Green White Bhaban (3rd Floor), 28, Banga Bandhu Avenue, Dhaka-1000 was established as an incorporated Public Limited Company in 17th November, 1999 and started its operation in the middle of the year 2000 AD. We have the pleasure to introduce our Company as one of the most secured and trusted General Insurance Company of the land. The Company established by a Group of well reputed Leading Industrialists of the land. The sponsors of the Company comprising reputed Chartered Accountants, top Electronic articles & equipments producer, top Network services and product producers, top Vehicle importers, top Garment exporters and importers etc. The Paid-up capital of the Company is Tk.423.50 Million and Reserves & Surplus stood at Tk.281.26 Million. Total Asset as of 31st December,2010 stood at over Tk.811.46 Million. Meantime it has already occupied an appreciable position and has made a significant role in the field of Insurance Industry & economy of the land. The Chairman and Members of the Board of Directors of the Company are well reputed business personalities & leading Industrialists of the land.

Under the prudent leadership & unstinted support of the Board of Directors Asia Pacific General Insurance Company diversified its activities in a wide range in Bangladesh. It is a matter of pride that a man of great personality, well reputed Chartered Accountants Mr. Aftab Ul Islam, FCA graced the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company.

The Company is managed by a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals headed by its Managing Director Mr. Shah Abul Kashem, former General Manager of Sadharan Bima Corporation having vast & long experience in the field of Insurance & Financial Management to his credit.
