M. Jalalul Hai is the Chairman & CEO of Haison International Ltd. a private investment advisory & management services firm of Bangladesh.
Over four decades experience in Public Sector, successfully facilitating Foreign lnvestments in Bangladesh.Mr. Hai started his carrierworking as a Government Officialin different Ministries and Departments since 1980, starting from Ministry of Agriculture, Department of lndustries, Ministry of lndustries and Board of Investment (BOI). (1980-2011)
Worked as Director in-charge of foreign investment in the Board of investment (presently BIDA). {2004-2011). Worked as Advisor for Development Co-operation & Economic Affairs in the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh. {2011-2014). Worked eight times as Bangladesh Delegate in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Tokyo at different periods from 1994- 2015.
Received Highest Honour "Order of the Rising Sun" from the Government of Japan in 2016 for contribution to strengthening economic relations between Japan and Bangladesh for more than twenty years.
Born in Chittagong, Masters in Business Management from the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. in addition. Did Masters in Urban & Regional Planning from the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) and masters in Economics with Honours from the University of Chittagong.
